Sridhar Babu’s claim on Kondal Reddy’s Tesseract link puts Congress government in a spot
Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu denied allegations that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s brother Kondal Reddy is linked to Tesseract Advanced Systems, which received prime land at a concessional rate. However, Kondal Reddy’s own social media posts and references by international forums suggest his association with the company.

Hyderabad: Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu’s claim that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother A Kondal Reddy has no connection with Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited has put the Congress government in a spot.
A political row erupted after the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) alleged that the Chief Minister’s brother was allotted prime industrial land in Raviryala, Rangareddy, at a throwaway price.
The TGIIC land, measuring 20,234 square metres, was offered to Tesseract Systems for about Rs.7.5 crore against a market value of over Rs.135 crore, BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank had alleged.
Responding to the charges, Sridhar Babu said the allegations levelled by the BRS were false and baseless.
“Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited has no connection whatsoever with the Chief Minister’s brother. I strongly condemn the false propaganda being carried out using fake documents against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s family, with the intention of tarnishing the image of the government,” Sridhar Babu said in a statement.
The Minister said the land allotment process to Tesseract Advanced Systems Private Limited at Raviryala was not conducted secretly or behind closed doors. He said the Consultative Committee on Electronics System Design & Manufacturing had approved the allotment and that the land was allotted in a transparent manner and strictly in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures.
“These distorted reports, based on false information, are being circulated solely for political gain and to target the government and the Chief Minister’s family,” Sridhar Babu said.
However, the Minister’s claim that Kondal Reddy has no connection with Tesseract appears to be at odds with the latter’s social media activity.
In a social media post, Kondal Reddy acknowledged his association with Tesseract. He also thanked the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum for appointing him to its India Executive Leadership Board.
“At Tesseract, we see this every day in India’s engineering talent pushing the frontier in aerospace and defence,” Kondal Reddy said in the post, which is now circulating on social media.
In contrast, Sridhar Babu alleged that opposition parties were conspiring to obstruct industrial development in Telangana and prevent investments from coming to the State.
“The state government is maintaining 100 per cent transparency in land allotments,” he said.
Countering the Minister’s claims, BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank said on X that Kondal Reddy’s LinkedIn profile mentions Tesseract in his bio. He also pointed to references by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and US-AndHyderabad describing Kondal Reddy as Chairman of Tesseract Advanced Private Systems Limited.
Krishank questioned how the Minister could deny Kondal Reddy’s role in the company when such references were publicly available.
