Srikanth Yalamanchili nominated as Technical Official for Asian Games

Hyderabad: Srikanth Yalamanchili, General Secretary of the Andhra Kabaddi Association, has been nominated by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) as a Technical Official for the prestigious Asian Games to be held in Japan later this month.

Since assuming charge as General Secretary of the Andhra Kabaddi Association, Srikanth has made significant contributions to the promotion and development of kabaddi in Andhra Pradesh.

Under his leadership and coordination, the association has successfully organised several major championships, including the National Beach Kabaddi Championship at Manginapudi Beach in Machilipatnam, the Junior National Kabaddi Championship for Boys in Vijayawada, and several inter-district kabaddi championships across the State during the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27.

Srikanth’s dedication, organisational capabilities and continuous efforts towards the development of kabaddi have earned widespread appreciation.

Recognising his outstanding service, commitment and contribution to the promotion and development of kabaddi, the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India has entrusted Srikanth with the prestigious responsibility of serving as a Technical Official at the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
