Srinivas Goud flags off medical buses

The Minister urgedofficials to utilise these buses in rural areas, especially where more than five covid positive cases were identified

Mahabubnagar: Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud on Friday appealed to the people to practice social service and do their bit for society.

Flagging off two buses equipped with ICU and oxygen bed facilities at MBC Church premises here, the Minister urged the officials to utilise these buses in rural areas, especially where more than five covid positive cases were identified.

He said Mahabubnagar will be transformed into a medical hub in the near future. In 2014, there were no ICUs, ventilators and advanced equipment. Now, the district headquarters is equipped with 550 oxygen beds and 60 ventilators, he said.
