Hyderabad: The School Education department on Thursday released the SSC Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations 2026 results, with 82.61 percent out of 27,857 candidates who appeared for exams having cleared them. With this, the cumulative pass percentage of the Class X exams stood at 98.75 this year.
Girls continued to outperform boys. The percentage of passes secured by 17,568 boys was 81.29 percent, whereas 10,289 girls recorded 84.87 percent of passes. Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Siddipet, and Mulugu districts topped the results with 100 percent of passes whereas Vikarabad district secured last place with 44.43 pass percentage.
The results have been made available on the website www.bse.telangana.gov.in. This facility will be available for 10 days. Candidates who wish to apply for recounting or re-verification of their answer scripts may submit their applications online through the website https://bse.telangana.gov.in from June 26 to July 5.
Speaking on the occasion, School Education department director Dr. E Naveen Nicolas said a proposal was sent to the government seeking approval for the regular SSC students to register and appear for the Telangana Open School Society (TOSS) examinations.
“There is a rule that students need to wait for one year to sit for the TOSS exams. We asked the government to relax this norm for SSC regular students who wish to sit for the TOSS exams and clear their Class X subjects,” he said.
The department, he said, would handhold KGBV and Model School students who could not clear the Class X exams. “The department will track all those students who failed to clear the exams and provide them with necessary support to ensure that they pass the SSC,” he added.
