Stanley Women’s College hosts boot camp on IoT and drones

Hyderabad: The Stanley College of Engineering for Women, in collaboration with the ACM-W Student Chapter and the CSI Student Branch, successfully organised a boot camp on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Drone Technology from September 8 to 12.
Addressing the valedictory event, NIELIT Additional Director Dr Korra Lakshman explained that IoT is a technology that connects everyday objects to the internet. He highlighted how IoT has brought revolutionary changes in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, smart cities, and smart devices.
College Principal Dr BL Raju said IoT and drone technologies are powerful tools that can transform the future.
Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr R Madana Mohana, CSI Student Branch Coordinator Dr Potu Narayana, College Secretary and Correspondent K Krishna Rao, management members T Rakesh Reddy and R Pradeep Reddy, among others, also participated in the event.
