Delhi Public school, Mahendra Hills organised a star hunt competition “Star Quest -Churning the best in you” for Pre-Primary section children.
It was aimed to provide a platform for students and galvanize their skills. The competition was open for all. The day began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a mesmerising invocation dance by budding danseuses.
The event was initiated by headmistress Neetu Gupta Puri who welcomed the participants along with their parents. Principal Dr Sunitha Rao encouraged students to participate and gain substantial experience, showcase their skills, analyse and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude.
The cultural and art competitions in dance, music and art categories were conducted with zeal and enthusiasm. These well-planned competitions brought out the essence of the richness of culture through dance, music and art. The enthusiasm and vigour of the young, energetic participants made the event a grand success. The day concluded with the valedictory function. Overwhelming appreciation from parents acted as icing on the cake and provided more motivation to the institution to conduct such competitions more often, the school said.
