Hyderabad: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar sought the cooperation of the teaching fraternity in developing a strong Telangana. Interacting with the teaching community during his ‘Praja Sangrama yatra’ which entered the ninth day on Sunday in Vikarabad, he appreciated the services rendered by the teaching community to the society.

He demanded that the State government start recruitment and fill up vacant teacher posts.

When a group of DSC aspirants from Vikarabad met him and submitted a memorandum to him, Sanjay said he would look into the issue. The group also requested Sanjay to exert pressure on the State government to issue a DSC notification at the earliest.

Later, he paid rich tributes to the country’s second President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary. Sanjay demanded that the State government come to the rescue of farmers who suffered crop damage because of heavy rains this monsoon. He will conduct yatra in Mominpet and Sadashivpet on Monday.

Meanwhile, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday wished speedy recovery to Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder Manda Krishna Madiga, who suffered a fracture when he slipped in a washroom in New Delhi. Kishan Reddy, who accompanied Krishna Madiga from New Delhi and dropped the latter at his residence in Amberpet, said Krishna Madiga should continue his services after recovering from the injury.
