Hyderabad: State government is making all efforts for the welfare of the poor, and it is the responsibility of every voter to support TRS to further develop Greater Hyderabad, said Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

The Mayor accompanied his wife and TRS Cherlapally division candidate Bonthu Sridevi in a door-to-door campaign in areas such as Kushaiguda, Teachers Colony and Maruthi Nagar on Wednesday.

During his interactions with the voters, Rammohan said the TRS has developed Hyderabad by earmarking huge funds and the results were there in the form of improved amenities in the city for everyone to see. He urged the voters to exercise their franchise duly considering as to which party put Hyderabad on the growth chart.

While Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was providing a relief of Rs 10,000 to the flood-affected families, the BJP and the Congress have got it stopped and were now making tall claims of working for the poor and the downtrodden, he said. “Both these parties are bogus and voters have to teach them a lesson in the elections. BJP is doing bogus campaigns in social media and instigating people,” he said.

Sridevi went for a door-to-door campaign explaining various development activities taken up in the division. “We are getting support from all sections and locals are voluntarily participating in the campaign,” she said. For the welfare of people and development of Hyderabad, people stand with the TRS government, Sridevi added.
