State govt monitoring Covid situation regularly: Errabelli

Jangaon: The State government is taking all steps to check the spread of Covid-19. The authorities under the direction of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao are regularly monitoring the situation, said Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. He urged the people to be brave to face and defeat the Covid-19.
In an attempt to instil confidence among the Covid-19 patients of his Palakurthy constituency, the Minister held a teleconference with the patients and officials concerned on Saturday and explained the measures to be taken to defeat the Covid. “Patients should not lose confidence to defeat the deadly disease. The friends, relatives and family members should take steps to instil confidence among the patients,” he said and added that those who develop fever, headache, body pains and cough should visit the nearest PHC to undergo the Covid test.
“If you face any problem, you can also call my staff for assistance,” he said and added that some beds with oxygen facility were set up at Palakurthy government hospital. He also said that the Covid care unit would be set up at Kodakandla.
Rao also urged his party leaders including Sarpanches and other people’s representatives to provide medicine, rice, vegetables and other essential commodities to the poor people infected by Covid-19.
