State Level Bankers’ Committee convenes 45th quarterly review meeting
SLBC reviewed the performance of the banks and an annual credit plan of banks in Telangana for the financial year 2025-26 was launched in the meeting

Hyderabad: The State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), Telangana, convened its 45th quarterly review meeting here on Thursday and reviewed the performance of the banks in the State for the quarter ended March 2025. An annual credit plan of banks in Telangana for the financial year 2025-26 was launched in the meeting.
Presenting performance of banks in the State for the final year 2024-25, SBI Hyderabad circle DMD Rajesh Kumar said total deposits of the banks grew by Rs 60,477 crores and the total deposits were at Rs 8,40,430 crores.
Total advances with banks grew by Rs 1,02,302 crore and the advances of all banks were at Rs 10,81,361 crore, he said, adding that CD ratio continues to be above 100 per cent and it went up from 125.53 per cent to 128.67 per cent during the FY 2024-25.
Participating in the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu applauded the efforts of banks in achieving various targets and sought the banks to continue achieving the targets set for the current financial year as well.
The Minister advised banks to achieve commercial goals along with social goals with a human touch. He appealed to the banks to be magnanimous in focusing more on extending credit to agriculture, weaker sections and SHGs.
