Mancherial: The two-day State-level cricket tournament organised by Telangana Grameena Bank at Pragati Stadium in Srirampur town concluded on Sunday. Teams of Mancherial and Kaghazngar stood in the first and second positions.
Lead Bank Manager Haveli Raju and Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmeeka Sangham (TGBKS) vice president K Surender Reddy, who were the chief guests of the concluding ceremony, said that sports and games would offer recreation to employees of banks who were always swamped by duties. Raju opined that one could stay both mentally and physically fit by participating in sports events. He congratulated the winning team and runner-up of the tournament.
Members of the organising committee of the event Murthy, Praveen, Shankar, Suman, Santosh, Anil Kumar and Bapu were present. Around 200 employees of branches of TGB across Telangana took part in the tournament. They were provided with shelter by the bank. SCCL’s Srirampur Area Chief General Manager M Suresh inaugurated the tournament on Saturday.
