Hyderabad: There is no place in Hyderabad for political parties that spew communal hatred, said Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud on Saturday. He urged the voters not to invite unwanted trouble by voting to such political parties in the coming GHMC polls.

Padma Rao was campaigning for the TRS candidates contesting from Addagutta, Tarnaka, Mettuguda, Sitaphalmandi and Boudha Nagar municipal divisions in Secunderabad Assembly Constituency.

Later, Padma Rao along with Yellandu MLA Banoth Haripriya and Hari Singh handed over the B-Forms to the TRS candidates. Speaking to the media, he said that every welfare scheme would reach to the people, if a TRS candidate from every municipal division is elected. Other political parties would only pose hurdles to the government’s welfare policies if they take control of Hyderabad.

He further cautioned the voters to be aware of the gimmicks being played on them by the opposition parties in order to woo voters at the last minute. TRS is the only party that takes pride in keeping up poll promises and successfully implementing them, Padma Rao added.
