Hyderabad: To ensure that the lockdown was enforced strictly, Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar on Sunday visited different places including Suchitra, Alwal IG Statue, Golnaka X Road, Allwyn Colony and Dhoolapally X Road.
He spent time with the field level police officers and also visited several officers stationed at various checkposts on roads. Advising them to take all safety precautions while interacting with the public, the Commissioner personally monitored the movement of the vehicles and participated in the checking with other officers.
Cautioning the citizens to stay indoors, Sajjanar said, “I advise people not to be careless during the second wave of pandemic. I request all of you not to turn a blind eye on any symptoms and get yourself checked.” There are almost 5,000 police officers from Cyberabad Police on the ground monitoring the lockdown situation, he added.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Traffic DCP SM Vijay Kumar, CAR Headquarters ADCP Manikraj, Petbashirabad ACP Ramalingaraju, Petbasirabad Inspector Ramesh and other police personnel.
