Nizamabad: Nizamabad Police Commissioner Karthikeya supervised the implementation of the lockdown and visited some areas including Gandhi Chowk in Nizamabad city. He appealed to the people to follow the lockdown guidelines and cooperate with the government.

Due to the imposition of lockdown, the police are supervising the situation at various parts of Nizamabad district and allowing public onto the roads in case of emergency by checking their identity cards.


The CP said the rank and file of the police department including the DGP rank officers are working round the clock by arranging check-posts and creating awareness among people in the district to ensure the lockdown is strictly implemented in order to break the chain of virus.

Only essential services like medical, pharmacy, agriculture and allied sector, media, and other services are permissible through e-pass system. He appealed to people not to venture out unnecessarily.
