Karimnagar: Director General of Police Dr Jitender informed to take steps to conduct sports competitions for Telangana police every year.

DGP participated in the closing ceremony of the third Telangana State Police Games and Sports meet-2025 held at police parade grounds here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, he informed that according to a national level survey, Telangana police was in the front row in the country.


Moreover, state cops also secured the first place in the all India police duty meet, he informed and wished the Telangana police to win the first position in national level sports in the future.

DGP thanked sports persons for participating in the competitions in big numbers and making the event a grand success. Sports persons would come to know their strengths and weaknesses if they participate in competitions. It would help them to get success by overcoming weaknesses.

Expressing happiness for participating in the closing ceremony of the police meet, the police boss appreciated IGP (sports) Ramesh and Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty for successfully conducting sports competitions.

DGP along with family members visited Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple and performed special pujas.
