Stern action will be taken against anti-social elements, says Telangana DGP

Dr Jitendar said that the people would keep faith in the police department if the accused were brought to justice.

Siddipet: DGP Dr Jitender called for proactive policing and sought strict measures against the anti-social elements.

The DGP, who held a review meeting with distinct police officials on Wednesday, enquired about the grave and non-grave cases registered in each of the police stations in the district.

Underlining the importance of filing the chargesheets in time, Dr Jitender said that the people would keep faith in the police department if the accused were brought to justice.

He also directed the police officials to monitor the accident spots and sought necessary measures at the black spots to arrest the repeated accidents.

IG S Chandrashekhar Reddy, Commissioner of Police D B Anuradha and others were present.
