Stock trader jumps to death in Hyderabad

According to the police, R Vikram (32), who was married and had two children, was reportedly depressed for the last two months

Hyderabad: A stock trader committed suicide by leaping from a multi-storied building at West Marredpally here on Sunday.

According to the police, R Vikram (32), who was married and had two children, was reportedly depressed for the last two months. On Sunday, around 10.30 am, Vikram who lived on the second floor of the apartment went to the penthouse on the fifth floor and jumped from there.


He fell on the ground and suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot. The security personnel and other residents who came out hearing the thud found him dead in a pool of blood. They tried to save him by shifting to the hospital, but he had died by then.

On receiving information, the Marredpally police reached the spot and have taken up investigation. No suicide note was found, the police said, adding that Vikram’s family said he had no financial or family problems. The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
