Stop War: MLA Vinay Bhaskar, litterateurs urge Russia to stop war against Ukraine

Warangal: Expressing deep anguish over the loss of thousands of civilians and soldiers in the ongoing invasion of the Russia against the Ukraine, Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that the war is not at all a solution for any issue, and urged the Russia to restrain from attacking the Ukraine, and restore peace in the country.
Addressing a “Kavi Sammelanam” of the ‘Orugallu poets’ organised by the World Peace Festival Society here on Sunday, the Government Chief Whip said that the State government was mounting pressure on the Centre to ensure the smooth transportation of the students from Telangana studying in the Ukraine to their native places. He also hoped that the war would end soon. Noted poets Prof Banna Ailaiah, Potlapally Srinivas Rao, Nagilla Ramasastri, VR Vidyarthi and others have recited several thought-provoking poems condemning the war and in support of the peace.

Syed Sorajoddin, the founder of the International Peace Festival said the world should be at peace and the pain and fright caused by the war should be corrected at the earliest. “We are planning to carry out more peace programmes,” he added.
World Peace Festival Society founder president and noted writer Dr ‘Amphasayya’ Naveen, Organisation PRO Nimmala Srinivas, Prof Virender, Prof Vijaya Babu, Shanigarpu Rajamohan, Ashok Kumar, Sripada Sudhakar Rao, Komarraju Ramalakshmi, and others have raised slogans in support of the peace holding the placards. All of them unequivocally condemned the war and stressed the need for peace for the welfare of the humans on the earth.
