Siddipet: Stray dogs killed some 10 sheep of a farmer at Anajipur in Raipole mandal on Tuesday night. The farmers Dasari Balaiah and Dasari Swamy kept their sheep in a shed located on the outskirts of the village. When they returned to the shed on Wednesday morning, they found the sheep in a pool of blood. While 10 of them died on the spot, five more sustained serious injuries. The farmers, who incurred a loss of over Rs two lakh, alleged that the stray dogs were gathering around their shed as chicken centre owners in the village were dumping chicken waste close to the shed. They urged the government to extend support to them.
