Nalgonda: Nakrekal MLA Chirumathi Lingaiah on Sunday said that the TRS leaders should spread the word about the welfare schemes and development programmes by the State government to boost public confidence in the party.
Speaking at a meeting of newly elected mandal committee presidents of the TRS held at his camp office in Nalgonda, Lingaiah said that village and mandal level committees have a crucial role to play for strengthening of the party in rural areas. He asked the party members to explain the welfare schemes, which have been taken up by the TRS government, for the uplift of the poor in the state.
He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has laid equal importance on welfare and development. Hence, Telangana State stood on top in welfare and development in the country, he added. No other State except Telangana was implementing crop investment support scheme (Rythu Bandhu), Kalyana Lakshmi, KCR Kits and Dalit Bandhu in the country.
