Hyderabad: A Class 10 student died after being attacked, allegedly by his classmates during a row while playing cricket in the classroom on Wednesday.

According to the police, the victim, Syed Mansoor (15), a resident of Yousufguda, was a student in the Sai Krupa High School at Krishnanagar. On Wednesday afternoon, Mansoor along with a few others was playing cricket in the classroom when an argument broke out between him and others.

“During the quarrel, a few of his classmates attacked him, following which he collapsed. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” the Jubilee Hills police said.

A case was booked and investigation is on.
