Student dies by suicide at Hayathnagar hostel

A 21-year-old diploma student, Anil Kumar, died by suicide at a Hayathnagar hostel in Hyderabad. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident. The body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital.

Hyderabad: A student died by suicide at a hostel at Hayathnagar on the city outskirts on Wednesday night.

According to the police, Anil Kumar (21) was pursuing a second year diploma course from a college in Hayathnagar. He was staying at an IT hostel in Hayathnagar.


On Wednesday evening, the boy was found hanging in his room and rushed to a nearby hostel for medical assistance where doctors pronounced him dead.

The body was later shifted to Osmania General Hospital. A case is registered and trying to ascertain the reason that prompted the man to end his life.
