Students of Gitanjali Devashray celebrate diversity of the country
The idea behind the activity was to make them understand that despite all the differences their identity as an Indian binds them together.
Students of class III of Gitanjali Devashray took up a class activity in their Social Science lesson – Unity in Diversity – wherein the students spoke about the different States of India that each one of them came from.
They also described its food, wore the traditional dress of that State and spoke about the festivals and traditions during the virtual session.
To make the activity more fun, each student spoke a few lines in their mother tongue, leaving it to their classmates to decipher what was conveyed. As is to be expected, it was a lot of creativity mixed with some fun-filled learning.
