Students, teachers celebrate Bathukamma at MLR Institute of Technology

Hyderabad: Dressed in traditional attire, students, along with teachers, participated enthusiastically in the Bathukamma festivities organised at MLR Institute of Technology here on Tuesday.
Students and teachers together arranged and decorated the Bathukamma, as part of the celebrations.
Participating in the celebrations, MLRIT treasurer Marri Mamatha Reddy said every year, Bathukamma and Dandiya festivals were being celebrated with grandeur at the institute.
She emphasized that these kinds of events were organised to pass on cultural traditions to future generations and to encourage students in an enthusiastic atmosphere.
MLR Educational Institutions founder secretary and Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy, MLRIT director Marri Shreya Reddy, Marri Laxman Reddy, dean Dr. Radhika Devi, and various heads of departments also participated.
