Students visit Khammam police Open House during commemoration week
Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt inaugurated an online Open House at the City Armed Police headquarters in Khammam as part of Police Commemoration Week. Students learned about modern policing equipment, cybercrime detection, and dog squad operations during the event

Khammam: Commissioner of Police Sunil Dutt inaugurated the online Open House organised at the City Armed Police headquarters here on Tuesday as part of police commemoration week.
The CP interacted with the students who visited the Open House and said that crimes were under control due to the modern technology used by the police in maintaining law and order as well as for public safety.
He educated the students about the fingerprint unit, bomb disposal and communications equipment, police patrols, methods of detecting cybercrimes, breath analyzers and others used by the police. The dog squad demonstration was for the students.
The students were fascinated by the way the sniffer dogs followed the instructions of their handlers with discipline in detecting criminals and bombs. Police officers explained to them about the importance of Police Martyrs’ Day.
The event was live streamed through a web link for students in schools and colleges in the city. Additional DCP (AR) Kumara Swamy, ACPs Narsaiah, Sushil Singh, RI Kamaraju, Srisailam, Suresh, Sambasiva Rao, clues team inspector Naresh, IT core team Hemanath were present.
