Subhash Damera’s immense love for photography
Subhash recalls his journey of reaching over 9 lakh members through his captures
It is the passion that drives us to do wonders. One such man driven with a passion for photography is Subhash Damera who hails from Warangal and is doing wonders on social media. With an old rented camera, this 20-year-old started clicking pictures which are now going viral on social media.
“I’m pursuing my degree final year. The lockdown came as a boon for me. That’s when I started exploring new things and tried clicking some different pictures with a message. My parents did not let me get into this field, but later after the pictures went viral they gained confidence and let me work on it,” says Subhash who has also started baby photography.”I’ve been trying to be the best in photography for the past four years, but the worst thing is I still don’t even own a camera. I have always been taking a camera for rent. But I’m thankful for the photography courses online which made me who I am today,” Subhash shares.
One of Subhash’s pictures, that of a girl wearing a paper mask went viral on social media and made him popular. “I started getting opportunities to shoot. Also, a couple of my photographs reached 9 lakh members all over social media,” he proudly shares.
“We should first believe in ourselves and work on our passion and leave the rest to God. Also, we should make sure we are active on social media, to reach a large number of people easily,” admits the young photographer.
“I can say social media is a good opportunity for anybody who believes in their work and passion. My goal is to take my brand even further with the help of the medium,” concludes Subhash who is struggling hard to purchase his own camera.
