M Suhas Preetham won silver in the 200m backstroke while Sri Nithya Sagi earned bronze in the 400m medley at the junior national swimming championship held in Ahmedabad

Hyderabad: M Suhas Preetham of Telangana won a silver in the men’s 200m backstroke event of the junior national swimming championship with a timing of 2:05.57 in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.

M. Theerdhu Sama of Andhra Pradesh won a bronze in the same event with a timing of 2:06.84.


Sri Nithya Sagi of Telangana settled for a bronze in the women’s 400m medley event, clocking 5:13.67.
