Sujata Mandi tops first round at NTPC Senior National Archery Championship
Sujata Mandi of West Bengal scored 313 points to lead the women’s 50 m event in the NTPC Senior National Archery Championship at Hyderabad Public School. Chhattisgarh’s Chandi Sahu and Manipur’s Okram Naomi Chanu finished second and third respectively

Hyderabad: Sujata Mandi of West Bengal topped the first round in the women’s 50 m event with 313 points in the NTPC Senior National Archery Championship at Hyderabad Public School (Begumpet) here on Thursday.
Chandi Sahu of Chhattisgarh with 310 points and Okram Naomi Chanu of Manipur with 307 points finished second and third respectively.
Earlier, A P Jithender Reddy, Advisor to Telangana Government (Sports), and T Raju, president of Telangana Archery Association, graced the inaugural function.
The results: Preliminary round: Men: 50 m: 1. Ravi Rajesh (Har) 332 pts, 2. Sumit Shivkumar (Har) 332 pts, 3. Gaurav Sanjay Chandane (AIPSCB) 332 pts.
30 m: 1. Vikas Kumar (Chhattisgarh) 343 pts, 2. Rohit Kumawat (Rajasthan) 340 pts, 3. Manish Kumar Sharma (Chd) 338 pts.
Women: 50 m: 1. Sujata Mandi (WB) 313 pts, 2. Chandi Sahu (Chhattisgarh) 310 pts, 3. Okram Naomi Chanu (Mnp) 307 pts.
30 m: 1. Dipika Pandey (AIPSCB) 332 pts, 2. Chhavi Rana (UP) 330 pts, 3. Bhawana (Haryana) 328 pts.
