Rajanna Sircilla: An autorickshaw driver Shankaraiah (46) died of a sunstroke in Hanumajipet of Vemulawada mandal on Thursday.
According to the villagers, Shankariah along with his family members had on Wednesday gone to the Vemulawada temple to have darshan of the presiding deity. He fell sick after returning from the shrine and slept in the night.

There was no response from him when the family members tried to wake him up in the morning. They shifted him to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Doctors confirmed that Shankaraiah died of a sunstroke.
