Summer vacation for school students in Telangana to start from April 24

Schools will have a summer vacation from April 24 to June 11. The schools will reopen for the academic year 2025-26 on June 12.

Hyderabad: Students across the State are counting down the days as schools, particularly those affiliated with the State Board, are set to break for the much-awaited summer vacation, commencing April 24.

While Summative Assessment- II exams for Classes I to VII will conclude on Thursday, the Class VIII and IX students will have their social studies exam on April 17, marking the end of the academic year.

All schools have been instructed to issue progress reports and declare results on or before April 23 and hold a parent-teacher meeting on the same day. Following this, schools will have a summer vacation from April 24 to June 11. The schools will reopen for the academic year 2025-26 on June 12.
