Hyderabad: Sri Malayappa Swamy, adorned with a bright red Ixora garland in his original form, blessed devotees while riding the divine Surya Prabha Vahanam on Sunday.
The Surya Prabha Vahanam symbolises Lord Surya, revered as the giver of energy, vitality and well-being to all living beings.
According to scriptures, the Sun is the source of light in nature and the force that illuminates even the Moon.
Devotees firmly believe that having darshan of Sri Malayappa Swamy on the Surya Prabha Vahanam bestows good health, longevity, happiness, prosperity and noble progeny.
