Hyderabad: A team of officials from the MA&UD department, GHMC and the Hyderabad City Police inspected the premises of the Charminar on Thursday morning in view of the Sunday Funday programme being planned there.

The programme is being planned on the lines of the Funday being organized at Tank Bund.

Special Chief Secretary (Urban Development) Arvind Kumar, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi participated in the inspection along with other officials.

Different aspects including venues for organizing cultural events, parking arrangements and related activities were discussed.

“The programme will start from Sunday and a joint inspection was done at Charminar to make necessary arrangements for its smooth conduct” Anjani Kumar said.
