Supervek, KVBR record facile wins in Basketball Championship
Shivendra gave a bright start to Supervek notching up the first 8 points for his side and with Peter chipping in with baskets the winner led by 12 (18-6) at the end of the first quarter
Hyderabad: Supervek and KVBR Club registered facile wins in Level 4 of the the Annual League Basketball Championship of the Hyderabad District Basketball Association defeating Titans and Elite Basketball Academy respectively at the CCOB basketball courts. Supervek won 53-31 against Titans while KVBR Club accounted for Elite BBA at 48 to 26.
Shivendra gave a bright start to Supervek notching up the first 8 points for his side and with Peter chipping in with baskets the winner led by 12 (18-6) at the end of the first quarter and added another 17 points in the 2nd against 12 by the loser to lead 35-18 at the halftime.
Nitish came up with two successful shots from the 3 point zone and with Satyadeep scoring all his 10 points in the 4th quarter, Supervek continued their scoring momentum to emerge winner at 53-31. For the loser Vishnu top scored with 15 inclusive of 6 from outside the arc while Rahul scored 6 and Kaushik 5.
KVBR outscored Elite Basketball Academy in each of the 4 quarters for a resounding 48-21 win leading 22-12 at the halfway stage. Venu and Gowtham had a 3 point shot apiece in their individual tally of 13 and 9 respectively while Ram contributed a further 9 for KVBR.
Siddharth pumped in 2 from the three point area in his score of 15 while Krishram had one 3 pointer in his personal score of 10 points,
