Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy’s body to be donated to Gandhi Medical College; last journey to be with State honours
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has ordered State honours for the last journey of CPI national leader and former MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy. His mortal remains will be kept at Makhdoom Bhavan for public tributes before being donated to Gandhi Medical College.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to conduct the last rites of CPI national leader and former MP Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy with State honours. Since the body would be donated to Gandhi Medical College, the last journey would be with State honours, CPI leaders said.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had instructed Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to issue necessary orders and make all arrangements accordingly.
Meanwhile, CPI State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao thanked the Chief Minister for instructing officials to conduct the departed leader’s last journey with State Honours.
The mortal remains of Sudhakar Reddy would be placed at Makhdoom Bhavan, Himayatnagar facilitating people to pay their tributes from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday. Later, a rally would be organized with State honours to the Gandhi Medical College and the body would be donated to the college management, he said in a statement.
