Medak: District Collector S Harish on Thursday said they have completed the survey of lands at Jamuna Hatcheries, owned by BJP MLA Eatala Rajender, in Hakimpet and Atchampet villages in Masaipet mandal.
Stating that they have conducted the survey following the allegations of local farmers who alleged that Jamuna Hatcheries encroached upon their lands, the Collector said that they can come to a conclusion only after completing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) on the encroachments.
However, he said they will hand over the lands by demarcating them accurately to landholders. He further said that they have conducted surveys in 77,78,79, 80, 81, 82, 97 and 130 survey numbers in these two villages. Meanwhile, farmers and Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) activists have staged protests demanding justice to them.
