Hyderabad: Many expected Suryakumar Yadav to debut for the Indian team in the first T20 match against England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday. However, the team management continues to keep him on the bench. Adding to that, regular opener Rohit Sharma was rested for the series opener which England won comfortably eight wickets.

However, the decision not to give the Indian cap to Suryakumar, who put in consistent performances in Indian domestic circuit and in IPL for Mumbai Indians, left many fans criticizing the team management and captain Virat Kohli.
