Hyderabad: A suspicious case of custodial death has been reported from Suryapet. The accused, who was being brought to Suryapet from Eluru in Andhra Pradesh by the police, died under suspicious circumstances at Kodad.

A couple of days ago, an elderly woman, Pappamma, was murdered in Tallagadda, Suryapet. After killing the elderly woman, the offender fled the spot with her ornaments, according to reports.

The police had taken Saida Chary, in connection with Pappamma’s murder case, into custody at Eluru. However, he died under suspicious circumstances at Kodad while being shifted to Suryapet, reports said.
