Suspected rabid dog injures several in Telangana’s Medak
A suspected rabid dog triggered panic in Masaipet, Medak district, on Monday after attacking several people along the main road. Around 20 persons were reportedly injured and shifted to government hospitals in Toopran and Medak. Official confirmation is awaited
Medak: Panic gripped Masaipet mandal headquarters on Monday when a suspected rabid dog went on a biting spree along the main road, attacking several people without provocation.
Residents, who believed the dog to be rabid, tried unsuccessfully to catch it. The injured were taken to government hospitals in Toopran and Medak, where they are undergoing treatment. Around 20 people are reported to have been injured in the attack, though there is no official confirmation yet.
