Nalgonda: In a gruesome incident, a man ended his life by hanging himself to a tree after poisoning his two sons to death at Sunavath Thanda of Damaracherla mandal in Nalgonda district.
An auto driver Geri Kishan Naik (35) was found dead by hanging to a tree at his agriculture field and the bodies of his two sons – Harshavardhan (8) and Akhilesh (6) were also found at the spot by local people on Friday morning. A pesticide bottle and cool drink bottle also found beside the bodies of the two children.
According to police, Kishan took his two sons from the house in his auto rickshaw on Thursday late evening, but did not return home in the night. Locals found the bodies of the man and his two sons at his agricultural fields. Differences erupted between Kishan and his wife after he developed a suspicion that his wife might have an extramarital affair with a person.
Wadapally police rushed to the place and inquired the villagers about the incident. It was suspected that Kishan Naik might have committed suicide after giving pesticide mixed cool drink to his two sons. Police shifted the bodies to the area hospital at Miryalaguda for autopsy. Wadapally police filed a case and took up the investigation.
