Tirupati: After receiving the overwhelming response to the “Adivo Alladivo” program across the world, TTD has decided to telecast the program for 52 weeks instead of 26 weeks in SVBC as was planned earlier, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.
A review meeting on SVBC programs was held in Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati on Saturday. The EO said apart from popularizing the Sankeertans penned by Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, a new program popularising the life of other ardent devotees of Sri Venkateswara Swamy viz. Sri Nadamuni, Anantalwar, Pallava Queen Samavai, Tarigonda Vengamamba will also be telecasted on SVBC, he maintained.
He said in SVBC Kannada Channel, a new program, “Dasa Namana” will be telecast soon popularising the Dasa Sahitya Sankeertans penned by great Kannada saint poets, he added. SVBC Chairman Dr Saikrishna Yachendra, CEO Sri Suresh Kumar and others were also present.
