Hyderabad: Surmandal Hyderabad is presenting Swar-Milan, a two-day Indian Classical Music Festival at Ravindra Bharathi, on October 11 and 12.
The first day of the music festival will have a soul-stirring Santoor recital by Rahul Sharma, accompanied by the acclaimed Tabla maestro Ojas Adhiya.
On October 12, the stage will come alive with the performance of renowned flute virtuoso Pandit Rakesh Chaurasia, who will be accompanied on Tabla by the celebrated Satyajit Talwalkar. This performance will pay homage to the iconic musical camaraderie of Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma and Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, evoking their legendary artistry and brilliance.
The festival is dedicated to the memory of Mohan Hemmadi, a lifelong patron and promoter of Indian classical music, whose birth anniversary coincides with the opening day of the event.
