Swaroop, Govind Raju elected to VCAH

R A Swaroop and K Govind Raju have been elected as President and Secretary, respectively, of the Veterans Cricket Association of Hyderabad. P R Man Singh is the new Patron-in-Chief

Hyderabad: Former Ranji cricketer R A Swaroop and K Govind Raju have been elected as President and Secretary, respectively, of the Veterans Cricket Association of Hyderabad (VCAH) at its annual general meeting held here on Saturday.

P R Man Singh, manager of the victorious Indian team in the 1983 World Cup and former Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, has been unanimously elected as Patron-in-Chief.


The following office-bearers were elected unanimously for the term 2025-2028:

  • Patron-in-Chief: P R Man Singh

  • Patrons: J Ramakrishna Rao, Bro K M Joseph

  • President: R A Swaroop

  • Vice Presidents: P Jyothi Prasad, Vinod Ingle, Chitti Sridhar

  • Secretary: K Govind Raju

  • Joint Secretary: Anand Kamath

  • Treasurer: K V Srinivas
