Hyderabad: Dr. Vasudev Chaturvedi, Founder Secretary of Swastava Cancer Care, has been conferred with the prestigious “Best Manager of the Year” award by the Hyderabad Management Association on Saturday, in recognition of his outstanding leadership and impactful service in the field of cancer awareness and healthcare management.
A veteran professional with over five decades of experience across public and private sectors, Dr. Chaturvedi has held key positions including Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Strategic Alliances at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Institute and Vice President at KIMS Hospital. In 2017, he established Swastava Cancer Care, a not-for-profit organization focused on early detection and cancer prevention, especially among youth and women.
A colon cancer survivor himself, Dr. Chaturvedi transformed personal adversity into purpose, championing grassroots-level awareness campaigns that emphasize timely screenings for breast, ovarian, and oral cancers. His visionary leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact on community health, earning him this well-deserved recognition from one of the country’s most respected management bodies
