Hyderabad: Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy and CliMed Research Solutions in collaboration with Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Association of Community Pharmacists of India conducted a two-day international symposium on Medicine Therapy Management -2021 on Saturday. The symposium had both virtual and offline speakers from various parts of the world.
Inaugurating the conference, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, president, Dr TV Narayana said the biggest number of workers during the Covid-19 pandemic were 12 lakh pharmacists, though all the recognition went only to doctors, nurses and government officials.
Commonwealth Pharmacists Association president Dr Rao Vadlamudi encouraged participants to focus on patient care. Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society secretary Zafar Javeed said common people were suffering due to lack of proper guidance on their prescriptions and leading to wrong medication or doses or both.
The event had more than 200 scientific presentations in the form of oral or poster in virtual or offline mode.
