Hyderabad: Synfosys Business Solutions Ltd on Tuesday clarified that it has been inadvertently named in a news report titled ‘GHMC names six top property tax defaulters’, published on this portal on March 29, 2026, in connection with outstanding dues of Rs 17.94 lakh.
The company in a statement on Tuesday said that it had officially divested all rights, titles, and interests in the said property on February 1, 2012. The transfer of ownership was completed through Registered Sale Deeds (Document Nos. 434/2012, 435/2012, and 436/2012).
Under statutory procedure, all municipal responsibilities, including tax payments, were transferred to the subsequent owner upon registration, the company said.
The current listing appears to have resulted from municipal records not reflecting the updated ownership details. Synfosys has already communicated with GHMC officials and submitted the relevant sale deeds to facilitate an immediate correction of records. The company maintains that it has no current connection with the property or the reported default, the clarification from the company’s clarification added.
