Hyderabad: T-Hub and Honda Digital Innovation India (HDII) have partnered to launch Honda Innovation Challenge 2.0, a programme to co-build digital mobility and customer experience solutions with Indian startups.
Building on the success of Honda Innovation Challenge 1.0, the partnership has expanded to a year-long programme with three new challenges and total funding of up to Rs 4.8 crore.
Each challenge will select four startups eligible for up to Rs 40 lakh to develop proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with Honda teams. Successful PoCs can then progress to pilots and potential integration with Honda’s products or services.
Selected startups will work directly with Honda’s engineering and business teams during the 12-week sprint to build solutions for real-world mobility and customer experience applications.
Toshiyuki Yanagisawa, CEO, Honda Digital Innovation India, said HDII’s mission is to explore and deliver new forms of value that can make people’s lives better. Kavikrut, CEO, T-Hub, said with automotive being an early adopter of technology, the partnership with Honda creates an opportunity to build in India and take these solutions to the world.
