T-Hub in collaboration with Israel launches tech initiative DRISHTI

Hyderabad: T-Hub, India’s leading startup incubator, in partnership with the Directorate of Defence Research & Development (DDR&D), Israel Ministry of Defence, enabled by Motwani Jadeja Foundation (MJF), has launched the DRISHTI (Dual-use Robust India-Israel High-Tech Innovation) program.
This transformative initiative aims to strengthen ties between India and Israel, driving innovation, strategic partnerships, and cutting-edge technological advancements across critical sectors such as defense, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), robotics, drones, and more, a press release said.
Through the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) at T-Hub in Hyderabad, Israeli innovators will gain unparalleled access to India’s rapidly growing defense and high-tech sectors, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with Indian defense public sector undertakings (PSUs), corporates, and investors.
Senior representatives from the Ministry of Defence of Israel, including Col. Avihay Zafrany – Defence Attaché, Golan Malka – Head of Dual-Use Unit at DDR&D (MAFAT), Lt. Col. Gil Elmalem – R&D Attaché were present on the occasion.
