Hyderabad: The fee for professional courses including engineering programmes offered by private unaided professional colleges in the State is all set to be revised with the Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) issuing a notification for the same.
According to the notification, fee structures would be determined for BE/BTech, ME/MTech, BArch, MArch, BPlanning, MPlanning, BPharmacy, MPharmacy, Pharm-D, Pharm-D (PB), MBA, MCA, LLB/BL, LLM/ML, BEd and MEd, DPEd, UGDPEd and other courses covered under the jurisdiction of the TAFRC. The revised fee will be applicable for a three-year block period from 2022-23 to 2024-25.
Professional college managements seeking a fee revision should submit relevant data relating to the year 2019-20 along with their audited financial statement for the year 2020-21.
The Committee decides the fee on the basis of the expenditure incurred by the college managements, facilities and infrastructure etc. Applications can be submitted online through the website https://tafrconline.telangana.gov.in/ and the last date to apply is February 28.
“Except for MBBS and dental courses, in the present notification, the Committee will determine the fee for all other courses under its jurisdiction. The fee revision notification for MBBS and dental courses will be issued in September this year and it will be applicable for the 2023-26 block period,” an official said.
The fee for courses offered by the private unaided professional colleges is revised once in three-years which is applicable for a three year block period. The last fee revision had been done in 2019 which concluded this academic year.
