BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao accused the Congress government of reversing Telangana’s decade-long growth under KCR, citing urea shortages and industry exits. Speaking at Independence Day celebrations, he warned against weakening the state’s self-rule and called for unity.
People participating in celebrations watched demonstrations with curiosity since they would not usually get an opportunity to watch such incidents directly.
The opposition party's attack came after sources involved in organising the event said all seating arrangements were done "as per the table of precedence".
