Khammam: A 45-year-old farmer died of a snake bite in Adasarlapadu village in Vensur mandal in the district on Monday. The deceased, Rambabu (45), was bitten by a poisonous snake while cutting grass in his field at the village. He died on the way to the hospital, police said.

Ajay Kumar noted that every farmer who suffered loss due to cyclonic rains would be helped by the government.
